A college physics professor was explaining a particularly complicated concept to his class when a pre-med student interrupted him.
“Why do we have to learn this stuff?” the frustrated student blurted out.
“To save lives,” the professor responded before continuing the lecture.
A few minutes later the student spoke up again. “So how does physics save lives?”
The professor stared at the student without saying a word. “Physics saves lives,” he finally continued, “because it keeps the idiots out of medical school.”
Friday’s Movie Trivia of the day!‘ How much movie trivia can you answer?
What movie is this quote from???  “Poor John. Who says poor John? Don’t everybody sob at once! My God, if I went up in flames there’s not a living soul who’d pee on me to put the fire out!”
Answer: The Lion In Winter! This Oscar-winning film stars two of the greatest actors of all time, in Peter O’Toole and Katherine Hepburn. It is the story of the English royal family of Christmas, 1183. King Henry II and his family gather at Chinon to greet the young King of France, played superbly by Timothy Dalton.
This line is uttered by Nigel Terry (“Arthur” from the 1981 movie “Excalibur”) portraying Prince John. He says this while sulking on the ground, after he is told that he is no longer the chosen heir to Henry II’s throne. His brother Richard’s (Anthony Hopkins, in his feature film debut) response “Let’s strike a flint and see…” was exactly what the audience was thinking at that moment!

For example, given the words DEAR, ANGRY, and RENEGE, you could drop the “A” in DEAR to get RED, drop the “N” in ANGRY to get GRAY, and drop an “E” in RENEGE to get GREEN. These would all fall into the category of “Colors”.
If you’re stuck, the hint will name the category. The tough part is getting all 10 words.
ANSWER: Like the hint says, these are all recipe directions:
Monday’s Quizzler is……….
You are an expert on paranormal activity and have been hired to locate a spirit haunting an old resort hotel. Strong signs indicate that the spirit lies behind one of four doors. The inscriptions on each door read as follows:
Door A: It’s behind B or C
Door B: It’s behind A or D
Door C: It’s in here
Door D: It’s not in here
Your psychic powers have told you three of the inscriptions are false, and one is true. Behind which door will you find the spirit?
